Greetings friends! It’s been a while since I’ve posted as we’ve been so focused on the buildout of the new …

UPDATE on that - looks like opening date will likely be between Nov 5th - 12th, depending on the rest of the setup & other awesome vendors moving in! (and we’ll have a grand opening shindig some time out in the future…)

Until then, here’s a preview of how it’s coming along, mid construction glory & all!

Brandt mahogany corner shelf/etagere;
Handmade w drawer & brass pull, c. 1930s, was $450, on sale for $360.

Brandt Furniture Co. was established in 1901 in Hagerstown, MD. The company went out of business in 1985. Former employees reopened the factory in 1986 and continue to operate it as a small family business. Some say papers containing secret information about the US atomic bomb were photographed lying on a Brandt table that belonged to Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. In 1935 the couple was convinced of conspiring to pass information to the Soviet Union; the photo was one piece of evidence against them.
