Hi my friends ... I would like to share and update you guys as to what’s been going on lately here at Haus and Home. After owning Haus and Home for almost 30 years, Ellie and I have sold our wonderful store to our manager, Rigo Negrete. Rigo has worked for us for 20 years. If you’ve been to our store during that time period, I’m sure you have had a chance to meet and talk with him. No doubt you have already formed an opinion of him as being an honest and, an engaging gentleman who subscribes to the highest level of integrity.
Almost 20 years ago, Rigo submitted his application to work for Haus and Home. I called all 3 references listed on his resume.
It so happens that I personally knew all 3 business owners here in Big Bear whom he had listed. To my surprise, all three business owners would take him back. One in particular, wanted to buy him back. His reasons for leaving his former employers were to move up in the world. Rigo also has a business degree.
Rigo is well aware not to make abrupt changes that Ellie and I set in stone. The same products and service remains. Rigo has also retained the great staff we’ve had for years except for Pat who moved to Arizona.
Ellie and I continue to go to the store a couple of days a week. If you have any questions for either of us, Please call Tamara at 909 866 2621. Tamara is at the front desk, she will get a message to us.
I would like to say a “SPECIAL Thank You” to all our customers, some are even grown children of the parents who shopped at Haus and Home, before Ellie and I over 50 years ago.
It was our distinct pleasure to serve each and everyone of you and believe me, we will miss all of you and our love of Haus and Home. ❤️
