Thank you so much to Mike and Katie at The Sitting Duck Bigfork for hosting my pop-up Thanksgiving feast! The Sitting Duck bar will be open to our event’s guests for wine and holiday cocktails at 1:00 pm, and dinner will begin to be served at 2:00 pm. The regular bar will be open again to the public at 5:00 pm, and Thanksgiving dinner will continue to be sold until we sell out! And done deal! Deposit down and turkeys sourced! Managed to find some fresh Hutterite turkeys to reserve, and will be arriving just in time for Thanksgiving. Hi! I’m Ryanne Norris, aka “The Hitchhiker’s Chef.” I am a Flathead Valley-based personal chef and caterer. I moved to North West Montana in 2019 with a vision for a different pace of life and a longing to live nearer to nature. Living in this abundant place has inspired me both personally and professionally with the area’s rich farming, foraging, and game culture. When not cooking, I am taking in the natural beauty of Montana, or snuggled up with my cats watching movies. I’m honored to be introducing myself, and I am looking forward to deepening my connection with this community through really great food!
