Proof that the difference is in the small details.

This primary bedroom project included everything from flooring and paint to furnishings—all big-ticket items that make a huge difference.

But taking the extra time as a designer—and making the extra investment as a client—in styling and decor is what takes a project from good to great.

I love handing off a space to a client that feels completely finished. No photos left to hang. No final touches to figure out. Just a space that’s ready to be lived in and enjoyed.

Introducing The Collected West—a sophisticated library lounge with a distinctly Montana point of view.

When we started designing this room in an early 1900s Red Lodge home, my clients had a pretty clear vision: a warm, cozy place where friends and family could gather, play a game, make a good cocktail and stay awhile.

They wanted it to feel Western, but not modern Western. A little like stepping into an old Montana saloon—but elevated, collected and fitting for the age of the home. Most importantly, nothing too precious or overdone. This is a house meant to be used and enjoyed.

So, we leaned in.

We color-drenched the room in a moody, dusty blue, brought in warm brass lighting, worn leather, burl wood and vintage pieces, and layered in some of their own personality—the elk mount and a collection of well-loved cowboy hats included.

The result feels like it could have evolved over time rather than being designed all at once.

Sophisticated, a little unexpected, distinctly Western—and ready for a bourbon and a game of chess.

The Collected West. 🤎

P.S. - Swipe to the end for the before photos-because you know I LOVE a good before + after.

August was a fun and busy month…with a few slow moments that I’m hoping to recreate in September (“slow down” is always the motto running through my head).

My family and I went camping at the beginning of the month- this always makes me want to throw my phone in the garbage. There’s nothing like idle time with no distractions spent with those you love.

Installed TWO projects in two weeks (which I will never be doing again 🥴). Photos coming soon!

And my baby started kindergarten. I’m still in shock.

This month will be spent finalizing a project (who’s ready for a Ralph Lauren x Nancy Meyers inspired living room?!!!) and working on my processes to ensure the best client experience possible.

Hope you all have a lovely month ahead!

Fell in love with New York City after spending five days there with my sister and niece last week. The design inspiration is unmatched. The Broadway shows we saw were life changing. And the food- dear god, the food. I’m still having dreams about it. Already ready to start planning my next trip there ❤️

So beyond excited to share this timeless and light-filled bathroom reveal!

This bathroom remodel started with two must-haves from our client: natural light and a beautiful bathtub. We gladly accepted the challenge and got to work.

We talk often about value engineering at Allis Interiors, and this project is a wonderful example of thoughtful design decisions making a big impact. Because the existing bathroom lacked natural light—and the artificial lighting wasn’t doing the space any favors—we prioritized adding a window to this second-story bathroom to completely transform how the space felt and functioned.

Next, we demoed the original bathtub wall to allow the new natural light to travel further throughout the room while also creating space for a freestanding tub. This simple structural change dramatically opened up the bathroom and created a much more inviting layout.

In addition to bringing in natural light, we layered the artificial lighting to create flexibility and warmth throughout the space. Recessed overhead lighting was paired with warm sconces on separate switches, allowing our client to choose between bright task lighting or a softer, more relaxing glow.

A lion’s paw double slipper clawfoot tub became the focal point of the room—creating an elegant yet cozy nook for bathing and checking another important item off the wish list.

To bring everything home, our client sourced an antique pie chest that fit the space perfectly, adding both functional storage and collected character. As always, our team finished the bathroom with a thoughtful mix of new and vintage artwork and décor to create a space that feels layered, personal, and lived in.
