We are just under a month away from Independence Day! Here's an idea that will have you using less cups on July 4. Place markers next to disposable cups (like our Stars & Stripes Y'all foam party cups 😎). Then encourage your guests to write their name on the cups! It will reduce the number of times your guests say, "Is this my cup? Oh well, I'll just grab a new one!"

Kentucky Hot Brown sandwiches turkey, bacon, and cheese sandwiches, served with a melty cheese on top! They’re delicious but since you typically need a knife and fork for it, they don’t make the best food for derby parties. Enter, the Kentucky Hot Brown DIP! All the yummy goodness of the sandwich, but in the form of a finger food! These were a hit with my whole family. For our Derby Party, I hollowed out dinner rolls to make these into individual servings with toasted baguette and crackers for dipping.

Here’s the recipe:

Hot Brown Dip

6 dinner rolls (or one large bread bowl)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 strips cooked bacon chopped
2 slices deli turkey, chopped
Green onions for garnish

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
2. Hollow out your bread bowls.
3. In a bowl cream together softened
cream cheese and sour cream.
4. Mix in bacon, turkey, and cheese.
5. Divide dip into bread bowls.
4. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
5. Remove foil and bake additional 5-10 minutes, until the dip is bubbly and brown.
6. Top with green onion
