What happens when nearly 50 years of friendship meets a love for adventure? You become vendors together! 💕🛍️

Johanna and Colleen have been friends for close to 50 years, and they’re always looking for their next adventure. A little over two years ago, that adventure brought them to Your Needful Things!

It all started with a Saturday outing. Colleen had visited before and suggested they stop in. Johanna was blown away by the size of the store, the incredible number of vendors, and the huge variety of treasures throughout. After walking around, the two headed to lunch…and somewhere during that lunch, an idea was born. 💡

Why not become vendors themselves?

Before they even left that day, they asked Ben for an application!

Since neither had ever been a vendor before, they started small with a glass case. Their original goal was pretty simple — downsize their homes while trying something new. But that little glass case turned into something much bigger!

This past January, Johanna and Colleen made the move onto the sales floor, where you can now find a little bit of everything — Avon, decorative pieces, glassware, NASCAR collectibles, craft items, recipe books and plenty of other treasures waiting to be discovered. 🏁📚🏺✨

And Johanna’s journey at YNT didn’t stop with being a vendor! She also joined the team as a part-time employee about a year and a half ago. ❤️

They may not know exactly where this adventure will take them next, but after nearly 50 years of friendship, two years of vending and one spontaneous lunch conversation that started it all, they’re excited to find out!
