A treasure trove of vintage and retro gems are out there waiting to be rescued. I grew up with the things I am looking for now, which makes me reminisce about days gone by. Its a good feeling one I want to share with my customers. So what makes you feel good, the perfect retro band tee? You know the one from the first concert you went to. My mom collected Milk Glass, we also ate from plates she co

llected from soap boxes. I would have to go straight to the laundry aisle to see if one of the boxes of soap held what she was looking for, my daughter now owns this set, it was very hard for me to part with. Our everyday plates were Melamac. I have painted and repaired a lot of furniture and resold them, these pieces become personal when you have repaired, sanded, painted and finished a piece. Some you hold onto for a while to enjoy before you sell them. Vintage glassware there are countless types of decorative-yet-functional containers, bowls, and platters include pressed glass, cut glass, carnival glass, Depression glass, elegant glass, and milk glass. (take a breath) I am going to stop here and just say all things are collectable if someone wants it to be. The idea that "one man’s junk is another man’s treasure", These values can be seen throughout my collections over the years.
