Situated on Main Street in Bird Island, you'll find us in a small but spacious store. We are an authorized BERNINA Dealer with Tech and carry notions, threads and other accessories to keep you sewing and embroidering.
I am Amanda Elfering and
together with my husband, Kelly, we purchased Creative Stitches in October 2017.
We both grew up in the Bird Island/Hector area and are happy to be raising our 4 children here. We grow corn, soybeans, sugar beets, sweet corn, and peas. If Kelly isn't at the store servicing machines, he's probably in a field somewhere :)
3 of our 4 children sew so far. They help me piece samples for the store and like sewing crafts. Besides quilting, I also love machine embroidery and all you can do with it. We hope to get more classes going in the future.
