Long before natural and synthetic dyes existed, blue was one of the most difficult colors to create. Some of the earliest blue dyes came from the indigo plant, while the most prized blue pigment, ultramarine, was made by grinding lapis lazuli, a rare stone imported from Afghanistan and often worth more than gold.

We are no finance majors, but that makes our signature color blue and white rugs basically free.

Rug Tales: Yesterday was our first day at HighPoint Market and we came back to find our sign on the ground. There were scissors laying on the couch and the fishing line we used to hang our sign appeared to be snipped evenly across. We immediately called security to roll that beautiful bean footage and find out who was sabotaging us. We intentionally left the sign crooked (like a badge of honor) all day and told our tale of woe over and over and over all day. Security finally showed up at the end of the day and said “At 2:13 AM, the sign fell sideways and of its own accord.”
