Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter were married on July 7, 1946, exactly 80 years ago today. A marriage that lasted 77 years, until Rosalynn's death in 2023. They hold the record for the longest presidential marriage in American history. One that showed the world what true love and partnership looked like. Their story continues to inspire many people today.
