Pensacola has a new BI showroom. 🌴✨

Our recently completed space gives us a new place to meet with clients, explore ideas, and gather along the Florida coast.

When we found the space overlooking the marina, the view was an easy sell. The old-school office interior we inherited, however, needed to be torn out and rebuilt from scratch...

Designed by Gresham Smith, the space has been transformed into a full MillerKnoll showroom, with open workstations, private offices, meeting rooms, and casual gathering areas throughout. Falkbuilt Ltd. and ALUR Walls solutions are also incorporated into the space. Biggs Construction Company, Inc. was the general contractor.

More than a place to see products, the showroom gives clients a chance to experience different settings and solutions in use—and gives our team a great environment for project conversations, working sessions, and events.

Coastal blues, natural finishes, bold wall graphics, and a balcony overlooking the marina give the entire space a distinctly Pensacola feel. 🌊☀️

If you’re in the area, connect with our Pensacola team and come see the new space for yourself!

Healthcare spaces carry a lot at once.

In one room, the priority may be privacy and protection. In another, it may be helping someone feel welcome enough to ask questions. Somewhere else, it may be creating an open place for patients, families, and care teams to sit down together.

MillerKnoll’s perspective on healthcare design looks at how environments can support those human moments throughout the care journey.

At Business Interiors, that thinking connects directly to the work we do with healthcare clients — helping shape waiting areas, consultation spaces, patient rooms, staff environments, and shared spaces that need to support many people in many different moments.

Because in healthcare, the environment is part of the experience. It can help people feel informed, respected, and supported when the moment matters most.

A private office should feel considered — not simply specified.

With Geiger One, desks, storage, surfaces, materials, and details come together in private office environments that feel tailored, polished, and quietly confident.

At Business Interiors, we help clients think through how those details work together — how the office supports focus, how it represents the organization, and how each selection contributes to the larger workplace.

That attention to detail is part of what makes Geiger Furniture distinct. Its casegoods are crafted in Atlanta, Georgia, where desks, storage, and workspace systems are built with a focus on proportion, materiality, finish, and craft. As part of the MillerKnoll collective, Geiger brings that craftsmanship into a broader offering of workplace solutions.

For clients and project teams who want to see that process firsthand, Business Interiors can help coordinate a visit to Geiger’s Atlanta showroom and manufacturing facility.

What a night! 🎨

BI was proud to sponsor IIDA Alabama’s recent “Battle of the Brushes” event, a creative evening that brought Birmingham’s design community together for a little friendly competition and a very meaningful cause. This year’s theme was “Iron and Imagination,” with Sloss Furnaces-inspired canvases setting the stage.

BI’s team included Dia Baldwin and Andrew Aho from KPS Group, Mary-Claire Brown from TURNERBATSON, and Brock Hurley from Spartan Surfaces. The team did a great job showcasing both their artistic and collaborative talents — even breaking outside the bounds of the canvas and onto the wall.

A special shoutout as well to two of our own BI designers who participated as artists during the event: Tara Blevins on the Bentley team and Emily Pinneo on the Milliken team. They did a great job showcasing their own artistic talents while contributing to two of the other sponsor teams.

The evening also served as a fundraiser for The Common Thread For The Cure, a nonprofit that supports individuals in the design and furnishings industry who are facing breast cancer by providing confidential financial assistance through grants. To learn more, donate, or get involved, visit The Common Thread for the Cure Foundation online or follow them on social media.

Thank you to IIDA Alabama for hosting such a great event, to the event committee for making it happen, and to Gallery Services Collaborative for opening their fabulous space to the design community.✨
