I’ve brought home some unusual things from estate sales, but this gentleman might be the creepiest!

I picked up this old framed photograph at an estate sale, and that’s when I noticed something STRANGE.

As I moved it, HE started changing!

No filters. No special effects. Just an old photograph with a mysterious little trick!

I haven’t even taken him out of his frame, and I’m not sure I want to!

For now, this mysterious gentleman is hanging out in my booth at Kolectic Treasures Antique Market in Pell City, waiting for someone brave enough to take him home!

And if nobody claims him? Well, he’s coming home with me as a special guest at our Halloween party!

Hey friends! I posted recently about the weekly lives that Kolectic Treasures Antique Market hosts on Facebook. Well, guess what else they have?!?! AUCTIONS! Now, I love an auction, as we all know. The auctions are not “live” which makes it even easier to get in on bidding.

Vendors post amazing items with a starting bid amount and then you just post your bid in the comments. Highest bidder wins & just like the lives, you pay the store where the vendor has a booth but then you can request to pick it up at any of the Kolectic Treasures locations - at no extra cost. How’s that for customer service?!? Auctions typically run for 48 hours.

This flyer gives you easy access to all of the lives and auctions. I hope you’ll participate - it’s fun and you’ll get some great deals, too!

Here are the still photos from my estate sale haul reel where I finally found the large apothecary style jars I’d been searching for - of course I found them after I broke down & ordered some from Walmart LOL There are so many really cool small vintage items to see in this haul! Excited to incorporate them into little vignettes.

I’ve been looking EVERYWHERE for large vintage apothecary-style jars. And when I say everywhere, just wait until you see how many yard and garage sales I’ve stopped at looking for them. Of course, you know I can’t stop at a sale and leave empty-handed, so that search has created a whole other situation. 😂

I finally gave up and ordered some from Walmart.

THEN I saw the preview photos for an estate sale hosted by Peddling Post…and there were the jars.

I couldn’t go until Day 2, on my lunch break, so I really didn’t expect them to still be there. I walked in and made a beeline for the garage and THEY WERE STILL THERE!

Unfortunately—or fortunately—so were a whole lot of other things!

I mean…that butter churn!! 🥰 The old rulers and paint sticks. Vintage office supplies. Brushes. Copper shakers. Old glass jars. And I’m now the proud owner of a Jeepers Creepers Lo-Boy rolling mechanic’s creeper. 😂 I actually bought that one for ME. My back and knees aren’t what they used to be, and I think it’s going to be perfect when I’m working on furniture.

I had the best time at this sale. Jeff & Ronda with Peddling Post were so sweet and helpful, and the great deals were just a bonus. 🤍

PART 1 of this incredible haul from Ringgold Junk Market. We had the best weekend sourcing and met such incredible people, which is such a special part of this business. 🤍

The video captures the entire haul. I took zoomed in photos of a lot but not all so please zoom in to find even more treasures!
