These are thrums — the little scraps left over every time a towel comes off the loom. Most folks toss them. I braid them into keychains.

Hi, I’m Percillia! 🧵 The hoodie says it all — I’d rather be weaving. 😄

I’m the mom, maker, and everything else behind PB&J Wovens. Every towel here is warped, woven, and hemmed by me, usually after the kids are in bed (like the one tearing around on the tractor behind me 🚜).

I fell in love with the slow rhythm of making something real with my own two hands — and I never really stopped.

Thanks for being here. There’s always something on the loom.

Wet finishing day! 🧶 This wool rug just took its first bath — a good soak fulls the fibers, evens out the weave, and lets everything bloom into place!

The scraps don’t go in the trash — they become this. Weaving projects account for “loom waste” aka the threads behind the shafts that can’t be woven. A group I’m a part of made a challenge to come up with some way of repurposing the scraps. I came up with these cute little Fringe Keychains!

A warp thread snapped while I was putting this on the loom. In that moment it felt like a disaster — one broken thread out of a few hundred, and my brain went straight to ‘the whole thing is ruined.’

It’s not. Tie it back together, throw in a supplemental warp thread and weave over it. That’s one of the things I love about weaving: almost everything is fixable. And the little flaws that make it through? They work themselves out in the wash. Wet finishing is pure magic — the fibers bloom, even out, and forgive you.

Handmade isn’t perfect. It’s fixable. 🧵

My weaving has become my nightly exhale 😮‍💨

I can take all the stress and noise from my day and reset myself creating something beautiful at my loom.

I have been doing this show for YEARS and I always have such a good time :) it’s worth the trip out to Morris to see what treasures you can find!

I also set up a loom so you can see it in action :)
