I haven’t been able to check back in, The last few days have been a blur. Kids home for 48hrs now on their road trip to get Jai moved into her sweet little house in CA.
Last night while talking to them, they said they have spotted so many places they know i would love to pick at! I have raised those babies right!!
My booth launch The Country Cupboard Vintage Market LLCWas a great success! Saturday mid day, I was able to take a peek at my sales, when I say I cried, I cried! I was truly blown away! And praise and thanks is all I can give to the good Lord above!
I ran over Monday afternoon to restock, looked last night after a very full day in studio, and it hit me, that yesterday while working on my first love of hair, my second love was also making income!
I might have cried a tiny bit more! I blame it on allergies 😘

Saturday AM up at the crack of dawn, and off to TN we went.
Bristol ( Tri-City) Flea Market had some really cool finds, ran to a few thrifts, really didn’t find much at those, but we did have to ditch our cart and literally run out of Habitat because I drove off and forgot to go back and pick up the big shelf. It was the first booth we went to, first purchase and I completely forgot! We even went to car once to take stuff to keep from having to lug it around. What was funny is we both thought of it at the same time! I knew it was gone and my friend was like I bet he left it for you!!
He said I will be here till 2PM
It was 1:52 we were 17mins away, off we went.
Empty tables, I swore it was building 2
She was like no it was 1 we split, I had told someone there, about what happened, she said well Honey what did the person you bought it from look like?
I said I don’t now, i don’t remember faces:people I just remember pieces ( or apparently I don’t 🤦🏼‍♀️) but here came Stephanie carrying it out of building 1
There is still really good honest people in the world! And as I said praise Jesus, that’s exactly what a guy parked in his car said!
And the shelf is already installed in my upcoming new booth.
It was a really good day with great shopping company ♥️ And just look at all those beautiful hydrangeas that are ready for the drying period, to become fillers in my booths this Fall

How many times do we say, I’m not going to stop at the Thrift store! Then where are we at, the thrift!! I just ran in made one lap which I never do, but scored 2 MCM Vintage Hollywood Regency lamps, 2 small brass candle stick lamps, one French lamps. Not to mention a huge Bible and Italian pastry tool,trinket shelve, that has holes in it, but turned the way of picture in video perfect trinket shelve. Me and the lady at register was trying to figure out what it was used for, Golf Balls is now my answer.
And a precious hair customer that was there shopping, gave me a 32 piece, very old and rare traveling chess set!
It was a good day “ just to run in real quick”
