After six years, we have made the difficult decision to close the store front of The Wood Korner. Our last day open will be Wednesday, September 30th.
This is a hard decision, and there are a lot of emotions that come with closing something that has been such a big part of our lives. But we feel that it is the right decision for our family at this time.
The Wood Korner has always been about more than a store. It has been about creating, connecting, and spending time together. And when we think about the past six years, the very best part has been the people who have walked through our doors.
The friendships. The conversations. The classes. The kids creating alongside their parents and grandparents. The laughter around the craft tables. The familiar faces who kept coming back. The new faces who became familiar ones. The countless memories made along the way.
Those are the things that will stay with us.
We are keeping the building, so this isn't necessarily goodbye to The Wood Korner or to crafting together. We hope to continue having craft nights, creative events, and other fun gatherings in the future. We don't have every detail of what that will look like yet, but we'll share more as things come together.
For those who already have plans with us, all outstanding orders, scheduled classes, Super Saturdays, and custom orders will still be taken care of. Anything already scheduled will continue as planned.
