You’ll be mad as an ole wet settin’ hen if you let this finery slip by! This empire settee would make the perfect sparkin’ bench or it could go at the foot of a bed or even turn in the pet chickens and let them run loose on it but it was made to be enjoyed!

This piece is already tentatively sold pending pickup BUT I had to share the amazing transformation. After cleaning, I very, very lightly sanded some rough spots and used Dixie Belle Big Mama’s Buttah to revive this piece. BMB is great for older pieces like this that look tired and appear to need refinishing but may just need a breath of fresh air.

I typically don’t carry pieces that are not real wood and vintage but I bought this piece to show ya’ll how you can use Dixie Belle products to transform what might have been “get-by” furniture from big box stores into something that will last and has the appearance of a classic antique. If you have anything in your home that you’d like to transform, take several pictures of the piece as each piece can require different steps and come see us.
