Hello everyone, this piece of furniture is a 1940,s telephone table or a “gossip table”. It was at my mother in laws and I always thought it was cute. People don’t like to paint antique’s because it brings down the value, but, I don’t care, I did it anyways! I love light and bright colors, ( you can tell by my kitchen door in the back ground) it just makes me feel better! So y’all stay safe and have a “bright weekend “! Joan

Good afternoon, I am sure some people will probably like the before image of this table, very Farmhouse. I actually do to, but it took me 3 buckets of soapy water and a lot of sanding to remove the dirt, paint chips (probably lead) and old contact paper. So when it was all nice and clean and smooth I couldn’t help but paint it again! Lol. Even Lucy, liked the new/ old table. Now it can be used for another 100 years! Hi Everyone, this was my first project to paint. I won’t mention any names, but someone, not me, pulled this out of a trash container. When I saw it I asked if I could paint it, (he didn’t see why) but I took it anyways! Please note, everything and anything I paint, I scrub down with soapy water! Yes, my brother now loves his table! Hi Everyone, this is another of my before and after pieces of furniture. Now the story behind this chair is it is from “Tucker’s Family Restaurant, before that a Stuckies and after that Monets. Hi Everyone, embarking on a new career (lol)! Check out some before and after pictures of furniture I am refurbishing. The sunflower table was my mother-in -laws from the 1940's! She is probably up in heaven saying "throw that piece of ---- away! But i just can't, I am loving re-doing old furniture and keeping memories memories alive.
