🥭✨ Our Carabao Mango Trees Are Growing Beautifully! ✨🥭

Some of you may remember when we offered these trees for $89 each. Since then, they have continued growing, filling out and becoming more established. Our remaining trees are now $125 each, reflecting their larger size and additional growth. 🌿

We only have a handful left, and because this is such a difficult variety to source, we don’t know when OR if we’ll be able to bring in more at this size.

Native to the Philippines, the Carabao mango is celebrated for its exceptionally sweet flavor and smooth, buttery flesh. It has even been recognized as one of the sweetest mango varieties in the world! 🥭

Yes, mango trees can be grown in Zones 8b and 9b, but they are tropical and must be protected from frost and freezing temperatures. We recommend keeping them in large containers so they can be moved into a greenhouse, garage or other protected space during cold weather.

🌿 Healthy, actively growing trees
🥭 Known as the sweetest mango in the world
🪴 Excellent for container growing
❄️ Winter protection required
💰 Now $125 each

🫐✨ Elderberry Bushes Available! ✨🫐

Immune boosting elderberry syrup anyone? 👀

Elderberries grow beautifully in San Antonio & the Hill Country area. These fast-growing, pollinator-friendly bushes produce clusters of white flowers followed by deep purple berries during the warmer months. 🐝🦋

🌿 Zones 8b and 9b
☀️ Grows best in sun to partial shade
💧 Appreciates consistent moisture & well draining soil
🌸 Beautiful flowers attract beneficial pollinators
🫐 Mature plants can provide berries for homemade syrup, jams and jellies
🍂 September is a wonderful time to plant and begin establishing roots for future harvests

For the best berry production, we recommend planting two compatible elderberry varieties near one another. We only have a few more left!

Message Abundant Orchard Co. for availability & to reserve yours! 🌱

Only fully ripe, properly prepared elderberries should be used. Remove all stems and leaves and cook the berries before consumption. You can not eat these berries raw. 🚫

✨ Available for Preorder: Hibiscus Hamabo! ✨

Just look at this gorgeous flowering tree! 😍
We recently ordered these for our landscaping clients and couldn’t resist making them available to our nursery customers too.

Hibiscus hamabo, also known as Hardy Yellow Hibiscus, produces beautiful buttery-yellow blooms with rich burgundy centers. 🌼🧡
Unlike many tropical hibiscus varieties, this one is suitable for both Zones 8b and 9b. It can be planted in the landscape & will develop into a graceful small tree or it can be kept in a large container and regularly pruned to maintained as a beautiful patio tree.

🌞 Sun to partial shade
🌼 Grows as a flowering tree (or shrub)
✂️ Can be shaped and maintained through pruning
🦋 Attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators
🌊 Drought tolerant once established
❄️ Winter protection recommended during severe freezes, especially if kept in containers.

These are available by preorder, so message us to reserve yours! ✨
We have one as display if you'd like to see there beautiful blooms in person 🌺 (as shown in the first 3 photos)

🌿🍋 THE THINGS WE DO FOR PLANTS! 🚛💚

Before we start sharing our latest inventory drop, here's a little behind-the-scenes look at what goes into bringing these beauties to Abundant Orchard Co.!

Two sourcing trips (approximately 16 hours round trip) & a whole lot of plant hunting later… we made it happen! 🙌

Our little ones accompanied us on this adventure.

That's one of the things we love most about building our family business. Our children get to be part of the journey, learn alongside us, and watch something we're passionate about grow from the ground up. 🌱

We're always on the lookout for unique, hard-to-find fruit trees and plants that you don't typically come across at your local nursery. Sometimes that means going the extra mile (or a few hundred 😉) to bring something special back for our fellow plant lovers! 🌱🪴🌳

We're soo excited about the Australian Finger Limes we managed to get our hands on! 🍋

Stay tuned! Our latest inventory drop is coming NEXT! 👀🌱
