Take a closer look at this kitchen.

Beyond the beautiful finishes, you’ll find cabinetry designed with everyday convenience in mind. From a dedicated knife drawer to vertical tray storage, these custom features help make the most of the available space.

There’s a reason we love incorporating natural materials into our custom homes.

The wood-paneled ceiling, substantial beams, stone finishes, and dark cabinetry introduce depth and texture throughout this kitchen. Each material brings something different to the space while complementing the overall design.

One of the best parts of building a custom home is creating spaces you’ll look for every excuse to use.

As summer winds down and fall settles in, this backyard is making a pretty convincing case for a few more days spent outside.

The real test of a custom home isn’t how it feels on move-in day, it’s how it feels years later.

Larry and Linda moved into their Johnson Custom Home in 2015, and receiving this message all these years later was a great reminder of why craftsmanship, planning, and attention to detail matter from day one.

Trust the process. The result is worth the wait.

Demo. Delays. Decisions on top of decisions. That in-between where nothing looks like the vision yet. But every single time, the reveal makes it all worth it.

The part of custom building you don’t always get to see.

Before the freestanding tub, walk-in shower, and finished cabinetry, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes. Every detail has to be considered while the walls are still open. This is what turning an idea into a home actually looks like.

Consider this your sign to bring wood back into the kitchen.

Full-height cabinetry gives this space a seamless, built-in look while letting the natural grain become part of the design. The contrast against the light stone island keeps everything feeling bright and balanced. A combination we’re loving right now.
