We’re taking Bertha somewhere new this weekend. ❤️

Hobnob’s fall market is back after taking a few years off, and this will be our very first time there.

I’ve never even been as a shopper, so I’m excited to see what it’s all about. From everything I’ve seen, I have a feeling we’re going to fit right in.

We’ll have Bertha packed with fall candles, melts and all the good stuff and headed to Altamont, Illinois. (We’ll also have the AC running 🥵)

There are plenty of fall candles and melts waiting for you, including some of the fragrances that make this time of year smell SO good.

So if you’re already in fall mode, you can stop by The IN Store in Ellettsville and stock up.

Sometimes you all decide what comes back without even knowing it. 😊

Farmhouse Pear hasn’t been available in candles for a while, but the melts sold well enough that I decided it was time to give the candles another try this fall.

It’s simple. It smells like a fresh, ripe pear.

And apparently some of you missed it because I’m already out of the melts. 😂

Were you one of the Farmhouse Pear fans?

These empty jars already know what they’re going to be. 😊

They’re wicked ahead of time based on the fragrance going into them, so by the time I start pouring, the plan is already set.

I turn on the TV or play some records and get to work.

On a big day, I can pour 12 dozen candles before I have to stop…

because I’ve run out of room in the dining room. 😂

Tomorrow begins my favorite season of the year. 🍂

Not because summer is over.

But because this is the time of year when so many of my favorite things come together.

Cooler mornings.

Windows open.

Fall festivals.

Market weekends.

And homes filled with the fragrances so many of you wait all year for.

The fall collection is ready.

Bertha is ready.

And I can't wait to spend the next few months helping you find the scents that become part of your own fall traditions.

Here's to a season full of cozy homes, familiar faces, and a whole lot of candles. ❤️

There are a lot of things I hope people remember about my candles.

The fragrance.

The way they fill a room.

The memories they bring back.

But more than anything...

I hope they're part of the little moments that make a house feel like home.

A slow breakfast around the table. Family gathered together.

A quiet Sunday afternoon.

The first cool evening with the windows open.

Those are the moments I think about when I'm creating new fragrances.

That's what I hope comes home with every candle I make.

And that's something I'll never take for granted. ❤️

Just because a candle is poured doesn't mean it's ready. 😊

After I pour a batch, the work isn't over.

The next morning, I inspect every candle and use a heat gun to smooth the tops if needed. Then they get their lids, warning labels, and head to my candle room to cure before they're ever offered for sale.

Even after they're cured, I still inspect each one again before it ships or is picked up.

And if a candle doesn't meet my standards?

It doesn't leave my house.

Sometimes that means I burn it myself.

Sometimes it means it gets thrown away.

I know most people never see that part of the process, but it's one of the reasons I love making candles by hand.

Every candle that leaves here is one I'd be proud to burn in my own home. ❤️

If your house could smell like only ONE this weekend... which would you choose? 🍂

🍎 Apple Cider Donuts

or

🎃 Pumpkin Caramel Crunch

I see this decision happen all the time.

Some people don't even hesitate.

Others stand there smelling both for several minutes before finally deciding.

And sometimes...

They leave with both. 😊

Which one are you choosing?
