We upgraded this bedroom with custom Euro-pleated drapery panels, adding just the right amount of softness to frame the doors without taking away from the view.

And because beautiful should also be practical, we added blackout lining—giving our client the option for room darkening and privacy when the panels are closed.

Simple, tailored, functional… and such a difference in how finished the room feels.

This room needed the best of both worlds—softness + function. 🤍

We paired blackout top-down/bottom-up honeycomb shades with decorative sheer panels using the client’s existing hardware.

The sheers soften the windows and beautifully filter the daylight when privacy isn’t the priority. Then, when they want sun control, room darkening, or complete privacy at night, the honeycombs take over.

It’s one of my favorite ways to layer a window: pretty when you want it, practical when you need it.

Custom window treatments really are about more than choosing a pretty fabric—it’s figuring out how the room needs to live, too.

It’s the little details that make it custom. 🤍

We helped finish off this beautiful space with a dark charcoal Roman shade featuring a subtle pinstripe. But look closely—the pinstripe along the side edges runs in a different direction than the body of the shade.

It’s a small detail you may not notice at first glance, but that’s exactly what I love about it. Those thoughtful little touches are what give custom window treatments their finished, tailored look.

Made specifically for the window. Made specifically for the room. ✨

Sometimes the window really should be the star. 🤍

For this space, the goal was to make the room feel more inviting while highlighting that beautiful oversized picture window overlooking the front of the home.

We added custom ripplefold drapery panels on sleek black hardware. The panels glide effortlessly along carriers when privacy is needed, but most of the time they’ll stay open—softly framing the window, adding texture and warmth, and giving the entire room a more finished feel.

These custom café curtains + matching window-seat cushion were made for the most fabulous home near Illinois State University, and I absolutely love how this little corner came together.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Interior Designer Shana Snoeyink for many years, nearly since the beginning of Drapery Decor. Her taste is always elevated and impeccable, and it’s so fun watching her vision come to life — I love that I get to play a small part in it.

Classic, charming, and proof that café curtains are VERY much still a thing. ✨

These windows already had blinds for privacy and light control, but with a window this large, they needed a little something more.

We added oversized custom drapery panels in a beautiful white linen-blend fabric with an inverted pleat header. One of my favorite things about this style is that it gives us a really full, tailored look while using less fabric than a traditional pinch pleat or Euro pleat—especially helpful on a window this size.

Simple, soft, and just enough to finish the room. 🤍
