My friends, it has been coming for a few months now.
B-TOWN BEADS & ODDITIES, would be closing it’s doors.
My health has not been good for over a year, I had not been able to produce new pieces, or taught for that long. Teaching and passing the accumulated knowledge of two generations was something I really treasured.
I promise a couple people, I would made this public over the weekend, I’m aware some of you may still be interested in acquiring some of the materials (beads, findings, etc), tools, displays, and other goods.
I can meet whoever is interested upon appointment, on week days, and over the weekend through this Saturday. Then again after the holiday, we will close hour doors permanently after December 31.

I will keep a small home base studio. Will be willing to take students, tutor, mentor, or even do some apprenticeship.

Our town would had seen the last two fully equipped, custom design jewelry shops, my good friend Sarah Applegate’s SA DESIGNS & mine closed.

Hopefully in this new chapter we both would be able to create again, and share our work with you in local venues. Love always Arturo.

Hello everyone!
I haven’t post anything o here for a few months.
Have had some serious health issues, that kept me from opening the store and doing any work.
My sincere apologies for my silence, I was not sure when was I going to be able to work again.

I’m feeling much better now, thanks to the care of my practitioner, and I’m seriously considering, opening back the shop.
The shows season is about to start, locally I had been selected to participate in 3 of the Farmers Market, A Fair Of The Arts.
The second Saturday in May, June & October.
Hoping to have a chance to create new pieces, and offer some interesting technique classes, for you to take advantage of.
