This has been heavy on my heart for a while, and I think it’s finally time to say it out loud. 🥹

Roaming Roots Plant Co has been such a beautiful chapter for our family. What started as a love for plants turned into friendships, community, pop-ups, fairs, late nights, early mornings, and so many memories with my boys by my side.

But as life continues to grow and shift, I’ve been feeling the weight of trying to do it all working full time, raising three wild and wonderful boys, being present as a wife, and keeping up with the demands of a growing plant business.

And the truth is… something has to give.

I’m prayerfully considering outsourcing Roaming Roots to a young entrepreneur who loves plants, loves people, and would be excited to nurture what we’ve built. Someone who has the time and energy to pour into it the way it deserves.

It may be time for me to step back and fully enjoy my evenings and weekends with my family after my full-time job without watering schedules, inventory runs, and vendor prep.

This business has been a blessing. And if the right person comes along, I would love to see it continue to grow just in different hands.

Tonight was such a lovely little reset for my soul. 🌿✨ I got to teach a terrarium class, and honestly… it felt SO good to get back in touch with plants again. We’ve been on a winter break, so being surrounded by greenery, soil, and all the creativity reminded me how much I miss it.

Watching everyone build their own tiny little worlds, asking questions, laughing, and getting their hands dirty was the perfect way to spend the evening.

There’s just something so calming about slowing down and creating with plants. Grateful for nights like this and I can’t wait to get back into the swing of things soon! 💚🪴

Waylen was over the moon when he spotted an air plant growing right on a tree at Aunt Kelly and Uncle Tom Bowman Trucking, Inc. house you’d think he struck gold 🪴💚 (of course it has to home with us).

We no longer have our physical shop and are currently only doing pop-up events. As we head into winter, we’ll be taking a break since it’s just too cold for the plants to safely be outside.
