Happy Friday Everyone 😻
It's been a little bit of a rough week for me... The weather has made life interesting - the joys of being barometric pressure-sensitive 🥺 - but we've still managed to get quite a bit done... So let's jump right into it and get you up to speed...
The News-news 🤓
Rolling over a huge milestone, we've grown past 300 followers! 🥳🤩🙀🤩🥳 This is a big deal because the more people we reach, the more of you that joins us on this journey, the more people we can reach and help. This milestone is a very important one, and it belongs to all of us 🥹 What we're trying to do doesn't work without you, and we're thrilled you're here.
Another big improvement, for the first time in a few weeks, we've been able to get back in front of the demand for our printers 😹 We now have 6 machines ready for you to take home. All you have to do is come pick out the machine that meets your needs 😸
We're also introducing the Creality K1 SE as a regular member of our line-up 😸 While most suited to experienced-beginners, it's a small footprint Core X-Y machine, offering blindingly fast speeds while taking a minimum of workspace. Also, with a proper upgrade kit, these machines can be converted for multi-color printing. 🙀 We're looking forward to keeping these as a regular part of what we offer you.
Also new, we've begun offering an intermediate upgrade for our students - Cold plates 😼😹😼 Cold Build Plates are specially coated, allowing for much greater adhesion at lower printing temperatures. In most circumstances, these fully eliminate the need for adhesion aids. The problem is that they require careful settings selection or they are very easily damaged. We'll be adding more build plates in the near future.
We're also trialing a new vendor for Rainbow Gradient Silks. We will have these available to you tomorrow, but, keep in mind that we haven't had time to work with these. They might be a full miss on our quality standards 😬 (In which case, we will pull them from the shelves.)
Last before we get to the pretty part, we're still struggling with our large-format machines. A big part of that was Mother Nature beating me up by running the Barometer like a metronome, to be fair. Hopefully we'll have better news next week. But for now, it's time for...

We have a T O N of new to share with you tonight and I'm going to show my age a bit... 🤪
First, we've been playing with our new materials, giving us the new eggs, and our rock stars for this week, but we'll save those for last.
Here, we have an example of the new cold plates. We have a limited number in Creality Ender 3/K1/K1C/K1SE sizes and a handful of Bambu A1, P1, and X1 sizes (I do not expect these to last long!) 😸
Now, the old part... How many of you remember The NeverEnding Story? 🐉 I remember when I first saw it... Over 40 years ago... Yep. I'm old... Look for more of Falkor as we go forward 😹
Alongside Falkor, we have a new style of Dragon that we're working with 😸 The new Unicorn Dragon and Hedgehog Dragon are an attempt to stay with one of our core principals - keeping what we offer affordable. I've been aware how the premium critters and the premium dragons before them have added upward pressure to the pricing of our offerings. We don't ever want to lose sight of the best-quality/best-value sweet spot that's been one of our defining features. These new dragons are a shot at working to alter the balance of what we offer back in a direction that has us offering a balance of price points, giving us something for everyone. 😹
Out last stop before we visit with our new rock stars will be an inspiration from Chinese antiquity... Our new Wushu Dragons! 😹
These are another foray into our new Metallic filaments, and a cheerful trip into Chinese mythology. Much like these...
Our Rock Stars for this week are a new mash-up type dragon that overlaps with something special to us at Three Dee - our new Cat Dragons! 🙀 We could not be more pleased with how these came together in a perfect marriage of some of our newest materials and a premium model, well executed 😻 We can't wait to do more and push this model further in the days to come.

If you're coming in the front door, look for our blinking sign in the distance, all the way down in the corner where you turn towards building 4, right across from our incredibly awesome new neighbors, Sweet Talkz.
