Low Country Shrimp and Knits We sell yarn, not shrimp. (Shrimp are terrible knitters.) It's called yarn math. We don't make the rules. Fiber has that effect on people.

Caitlin only thought she was done with Knit-Alongs for the year, but boy was she mistaken!

Join us for the last sweater king-along of 2026: The Petiteknit Olga sweater. There's just something about a stripe that is a siren song. The Olga knits up to be the perfect, "just throw it on like a sweatshirt," sweater that looks far more elevated. It's comfy, it's cozy, and since it's knit in DK weight yarn it's not too heavy for the Low Country.

If you need help - we have drop in classes Tuesdays and Fridays with Get You Knit Together to help you with your projects. We also have Stitch ER on Thursdays if you need us to help fix a mistake and get your project back on track. Plus, you can always get one-on-one help with a private lesson. Low Country Shrimp and Knits’ Granny Square Blanket by the Holidays Crochet Along kicks off THIS SUNDAY! 🎉

Every other Sunday, Marco Martinez will teach a completely new granny square, and each one adds new stitches, techniques, textures, and skills to your crochet toolbox. You’ll make four of each design between sessions, and by December you’ll have 20 gorgeous squares and a whole lot more crochet confidence.

Then we throw a WE DID IT! Party on December 6, learn how to join those squares together, and turn the whole glorious pile into an actual blanket. 🙌

Keep it. Gift it. Wrap yourself in it while smugly announcing, “I MADE THIS.” We don’t judge.
