When the house that’s built becomes a home people live in, it’s a big deal. When someone asks me to guide them through the process I’m always excited to get to the ‘home’ part. The thing is to get there you have to pick all the puzzle pieces out along the way, make sure they are out it like you imagined, order all the things to go with them, make sure all the subs get the vision. It can be a a tall order but yet so rewarding. This wall was debated a lot. Should we brick half way, all the way, should we have bookcases, should we even have brick. I got all the questions from every direction. In the end I said please, please let’s use the whole space and brick it all the way up. And yes, let’s add board and batten on the accent wall. No, the light isn’t to big. If you know me you know I enjoyed the moment they said I was right about this. I absolutely love how this turned out. This is one of those go big or go home moments.
