Damaged and cigarette-burned chairs take time to pull, repair, and replace.

At Hard Rock Sacramento, about 75% of the gaming floor has now been switched to No-Burn Upholstery™. Will Provance, Senior Vice President of Operations, says the change has improved team efficiency and reduced the time spent continuously changing out damaged chairs.

What goes into specifying a chair?

Seating must meet demanding performance requirements and still serve panache. Successful specification often means selecting materials for the work each surface does.

1. Inside backs and headrests ➡️ stain-resistant, easy-to-clean upholstery to protect from constant contact with skin and hair.

2. Seat cushions ➡️ high abrasion resistance to hold up against friction, stretching, and compression.

3. Outside backs ➡️ use expressive colors, textures, and motifs as they repeat prominently across a room, shaping a space's sightlines and ambience.
