A home should tell the story of the people who live in it, not the person who designed it.

From the art on the walls to the books on the coffee table, the most meaningful details are the ones that reflect a client’s interests, experiences and way of life.

Beautiful design is only part of the equation. Making it personal is what makes it feel like home.

Looking forward to joining Beth Dotolo, Barb Fuller and Pam Durkin at High Point Market for Designed to Endure: Rethinking Longevity in the Modern Bath.

Moderated by Kaitlin Petersen, Editor in Chief of Business of Home, the conversation will look at what makes a bath feel lasting - from investment-worthy finishes to the choices that help a space hold up beautifully well beyond a trend cycle.

It’s a topic we think about often: how to guide clients toward pieces, materials and details they’ll still want to live with years from now.

The final layers are falling into place on this one - warm oak, sculptural lighting and just the right amount of contrast. A project coming into focus this beautifully is one of our favorite parts of the process.

Twenty minutes over the plans can save a $20,000 mistake in the field.

A favorite takeaway from our Design v. Tech: How to Win conversation at What’s New, What’s Next 2026.

Such a great discussion with Betsy C. Berry, Brynn Olson Design Group and Phillip Thomas - moderated by EVERICK BROWN DESIGN | INTERIORS - keeping us all on our toes. So grateful to have been part of such an epic at New York Design Center celebrating 100 years at 200 Lex and all the inspiration that came with it.

From a little vision to the layers, details and decisions that bring a room into focus.

A look behind the scenes at one space coming together - through construction, install and those final finishing touches that make all the difference.

Almost ready for its close-up.

A throwback private club, tucked into the middle of a family home.

Green tile with a gold lath inlay along the bar face, antique mirror behind the shelving, and a brass chandelier overhead.

Being back in the Kips Bay world this week had us digging through the camera roll - and there was too much good stuff not to revisit.

A little look back at our primary bath from the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach 2025: the process, the details, the moments in between, and eventually, the finished room.

Still one of those experiences we’ll never forget.
