“When I’m told, ‘I want the floors to be the same throughout…’”
I get it. Consistency creates flow. But flow doesn’t have to mean everything is the same.
Every finish we select helps define a space—flooring, walls, millwork, stone, lighting, furnishings—and the magic is in making all of those choices speak to each other without sacrificing depth or personality.
One floor throughout can be beautiful, especially in a loft or truly open-plan home. But when walls begin to define rooms, the design needs to evolve with them.
Different spaces can have their own identity while still feeling completely connected.
That’s where a home starts to feel layered, collected and designed—not flat.
