LIGHTING: ✨The Secret to a Beautiful Room

Lighting does so much more than simply brighten a room—it creates the mood, warmth and atmosphere of your space. And sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference.

✨ Give an old lamp a new look.
One of the easiest ways to update a vintage lamp is with a new shade. The right shade can completely change the personality of a lamp—and it’s much less expensive than replacing the lamp itself.

✨ Think of finials as jewelry.
That little piece at the top of your lamp may seem insignificant, but a beautiful finial is like the perfect earrings with an outfit. It adds that finishing touch!

✨ Size matters.
Tiny lamps are wonderful for bookshelves, cabinets and small vignettes, but they often get lost on a bedside table or larger piece of furniture. Let the scale of your lamp fit the space.

✨ Keep your bulbs consistent.
When you have multiple lamps or a chandelier in the same room, use bulbs with the same color temperature. Mixing cool white and warm white bulbs can make a room feel disjointed.

✨ A short lamp? Give it a lift!
