In the works! 🍊 A little old-fashioned Christmas nostalgia.

Long before stockings were filled with the latest toys and gadgets, a simple orange was a treasured Christmas gift. For many families, it was a rare winter treat and a reminder to appreciate the little things.

My husband grew up finding an orange at the bottom of his Christmas stocking, tucked beneath all his other goodies. It’s a tradition I’ve always loved, and I wanted to bring a little of that old-fashioned magic back.

That’s the heart behind my Vintage Christmas scent, poured exclusively into the vintage coffee mugs I’ve collected throughout the year. Each mug has its own character, and the collection will be very limited.

Orange Peel, Peppercorn, Apple, Mandarin, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Orange Essential Oil

In the spotlight today: Caramel Apple Crisp

I’m labeling these Caramel Apple Crisp candles, and I just stopped to make this post. They are THAT good!

Caramel apple crisp is one of my favorite fall desserts, and this scent captures that warm, sweet, freshly baked goodness. Think apples, buttery notes, caramel, and vanilla… the kind of smell that makes your house feel like you’ve been baking all day. 🤎

And this is one of those scents that doesn’t just sit quietly in the corner. It fills the room! 🙌🏻

Have you tried this one?! I’d love for others to know just how good this one is!!

I’m actually burning a Fall Festival candle in my own house this year!

I usually save my bestsellers for my customers, so I rarely get to enjoy them myself. But today, while cleaning the kitchen and picking up around the house, I decided it was time.

The smell of hot apple c***r and Fraser fir filling the house, paired with the soft crackle of the wood wick… 🥹🤎 There’s just something about it that makes a house feel extra cozy.

I made a big batch of Fall Festival this year, so thankfully I still have plenty available in amber glass jars, mason jars, and wax melts if you’ve been wanting to try it! I’ve linked them in the comments for easy shopping!

Now excuse me while I pretend my house is going to stay this clean. 😉🍎

Well… I made it. 😂

Getting to downtown Greenville this morning was an adventure all by itself. Streets were closed, parking was basically nonexistent, and my GPS kept rerouting me like it had absolutely no idea what was happening either. 😂🥴

Our segment started at 9:25 am, and I walked into the newsroom carrying a box with about 10 pounds of candles and pumpkins after walking several blocks. My arms were shaking, I was sweating, and I had approximately 30 seconds to get everything set up before heading behind the desk.

So, naturally, the setup I had carefully planned? Yeah… that didn’t happen. 😜 Everything basically got tossed onto the table as quickly as humanly possible.

No time to breathe. No time to fix anything. And definitely no time to tap the sweat off my forehead.

But I made it!

And honestly, I’m always so thankful for opportunities like this and for the amazing community and markets that continue to support small businesses and local makers like me.

I’m incredibly grateful for it. ❤️

And if you want to see how all that chaos turned out… I tagged the segment in the comments. 😂👇🏻

Y’ALL… I just got invited BACK to Your Carolina, a local morning TV show here in the Upstate, this Thursday! 😳🥹

My heart is already pounding just thinking about it!

Going on live TV is definitely outside my comfort zone, but what an incredible opportunity for Shepherd Candle Company! 🐾🕯️

So I have to ask…

If I went on the air Thursday, would you watch?! 👀

And if you’ve got any tips for calming those LIVE-TV nerves… SEND THEM MY WAY. 😂

I’m equal parts excited and terrified!
