A little note from the Cottage… 🌿

My mink bunny gnomes will be available for a limited time.

Due to a new Etsy policy, I will no longer be able to offer pieces made with mink moving forward. These bunny gnomes have been such a special part of my spring collection, and it’s bittersweet to see this chapter come to a close.

If you’ve had your heart set on one, this will be the last opportunity to bring one home.

As always, each one is made with care, story, and a bit of quiet magic.

How Gentlewoods Gnomes began…

Six years ago these little gnomes started as a simple creative idea. I thought they were charming and fun to make, and it seemed like everyone loved gnomes.

Over time something unexpected happened.

Each one began to develop its own character, its own story, and its own place in the growing world of Gentlewoods Cottage.

What began as a small creative project slowly became a collection of heirloom dolls — pieces meant to be kept, displayed, gifted, and treasured.

Today these little companions live in collections all over the world, and seeing them become part of people’s homes and stories has been one of the most meaningful parts of this journey.

Two little travelers are setting off from Gentlewoods Cottage today…

They are heading to a wonderful longtime customer and will become the 59th and 60th Gentlewoods gnomes in her collection. 🤍

Both are part of the 2026 Gentlewoods Cottage Garden Series, inspired by winding paths, soft blossoms, and the quiet magic of a cottage garden.

Moments like this truly humble me. When I first began creating these little companions, I never imagined they would find their way into so many homes and collections.

Each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted in my studio using carefully sourced vintage mink, preserving the timeless softness of heirloom materials while giving them new life. Created in limited number, these designs will quietly retire once the mink is gone.

Sage Hollow embodies rooted woodland calm .. steady and grounding.

Blushmere Hollow carries soft renewal .. the gentle warmth that follows winter’s hush.

Two new gentle souls have joined the cottage this winter, and I couldn’t wait to introduce them to you…

Meet Roswyn and Briarblush — the Valentine gnomes of Gentlewoods.

Roswyn is the winter-white Valentine — calm, peaceful, and softly bright, with a presence that feels like fresh snow, candlelight, and a quiet room at dusk. He’s stitched in soft white velvet with gentle faux fur trim and brings a feeling of quiet comfort wherever he settles.

Briarblush, the Woodland Valentine, is stitched from soft rose velvet and finished with heirloom vintage mink trim. He carries the warmth of blush-pink dawns and the hush of frost-kissed pines — a keeper of tender moments and warm hearts.

Both are:

Today, the final Kaelen Nightbloom — 5 of 5 — slipped out the cottage door, bound for a new home in New York. His place by the hearth is now gently empty, his story complete.

But the cottage itself is not yet still.

A small handful of heirloom gnomes remain, tucked among winter branches and warm shelves, waiting for the homes they were made for. Each one carries a story meant to be lived with — not rushed, not replaced.

She’s all shimmer and starlight tonight ✨
That golden mane, that gentle sparkle — there’s just something about her that feels pure magic. 🦄

This beautiful unicorn is one of the Gentlewoods Cottage — Gentlewoods Mounts creations, and she’s off to her new home today. I always feel a little tug when one of these pieces leaves the studio… but it makes my heart happy knowing she’ll be loved and admired all over again. 💛

Sometimes I still can’t believe how much joy these little ones bring. ✨

I’ve made hundreds of gnomes over the past four years, yet each time one comes together, it feels like meeting a new friend — a different tilt of the hat, a softer beard, a spark of its own little story.

I’ll never grow tired of watching them come to life. 🕯️❤️
