The woman everyone depends on is often the one quietly carrying the heaviest invisible load.

It’s not because she’s incapable.
It’s because she’s carrying too much.

I design homes for women managing careers, families, schedules, aging parents, emotional labor and the constant mental tabs running in the background at all times.

Women who look put together…
but privately feel overwhelmed trying to hold everything together.

And over time, the weight of that pressure starts to show up everywhere:
- the clutter
- the friction
- the exhaustion
- the overstimulation
- the feeling that nothing is ever fully handled

A well-designed home can’t solve every problem.

But it can…
- support you.
- reduce friction.
- create calm.
- make daily life feel lighter and more manageable.

And honestly?

The remodel process itself shouldn’t become another thing you have to carry alone.

Part of my role as a designer is helping clients feel supported through the process, not just designing a beautiful outcome. Helping hold the vision, reduce decision fatigue and create a home that truly supports the life they’re living now.

Because the woman carrying everyone else deserves support too.

Most homeowners start a kitchen remodel thinking about finishes first, but the best kitchen renovations begin with thoughtful planning.

Layout, storage, appliance selections, lighting, and functionality all work together to create a kitchen that feels beautiful and supports real life. When we get that right, the aesthetic part is how it all comes together into a stunning space that fits the way you live.

If you’re planning a kitchen remodel in Boise, Eagle, Meridian, or the surrounding Treasure Valley area, taking time to make these decisions early can save significant stress, delays, and costly changes later.

Beautiful kitchens aren’t just designed to photograph well. They’re designed to live well.

You probably already have great instincts when it comes to knowing what you love. And let’s be honest, playing colors is a really fun part of dreaming up a new space.

But to truly transform your home into a place that gets you, that makes you feel welcome, that anticipates your needs and gives you that twitterpated sigh when you get home… that takes planning. Digging deep into what matters, into your hopes and dreams and visions.

It takes a unique ability to look at an existing space and see it for what it can be. To work through the details of space planning and demo and construction, of storage and organization, and everyday luxuries and create a lasting solution. To guide and document every decision and specification so that the finished space looks like the vision. And to navigate the construction process and problem solve when challenges arise (and they always do). And then to wrap it up with a pretty bow on top with beautiful materials and finishes that feel as amazing as they look.

That combination of vision and granular detail is where the magic happens. And for that, your project needs a professional.

The good thing is… you’ve found one.

When we start getting down to the storage specifics in a kitchen remodel, I’ve found it’s an item clients either love or hate: the utensil pullout.

I get the arguments for and against, especially because in a kitchen where storage and organization are already a frustration, the idea of having unused space feels like a waste.

I’m all about efficiency in my kitchen, and I love mine because it fits my workflow at the cooking center. No rummaging, no clutter, no searching. Just open, grab what I need, and go.

But when I’m designing your kitchen, you can be confident that I’m placing your preferences, goals and the way you use (or dream of using) your space at the top of my priority list.

I’m not here to push a solution because I like it. I’m here to create a solution that supports you so well, you’ll love it every day. Understanding your tastes, your preferences and your unique needs are key to designing a space that fits the way you live.

It’s why my pre-design phase is built around getting to know you and learning what’s most important, and it’s why I use a collaborative approach to the design process. To deliver not just a beautiful kitchen, but also the best possible solution for your home, your life and your family.

Whether you’re considering a kitchen refresh, a new build or a major remodel, there are 3 ways you can work with me:

1) My signature full-service remodel design. This spans everything from initial space planning and aesthetic concept, to detailed drawings and documentation for every single decision that is needed to move your project forward, to ordering and scheduling products, to site visits with your contractor and trades, all the way to the final punch list. It’s expert guidance, bringing together function and beauty for a space that truly supports you and your family. Available in Boise, Eagle, Star, Middleton, Caldwell and Meridian.

2) Consultation services. Imagine having a designer by your side, whether you need a one-off consultation for a plan review or kitchen refresh, an exploration of what’s possible, or an expert in the room to work through a more complex project that you’ll be managing on your own. Available in 2, 3, and 4 hour sessions, in-person in the Treasure Valley or virtually throughout the US.

3) Cabinetry & built ins. Whether you’re giving your kitchen a glow up, finally creating that home office you’ve been dreaming of, or replacing cabinetry throughout the home, I offer stock, semi-custom, and custom cabinetry, organizers and storage, as well as decorative hardware to create a complete cabinetry solution.

When I say I’m an interior designer, I’m pretty sure people imagine me with pillows and shelfie decor.

Full transparency… if you just need a few pillows and a lamp, I’m probably not the designer for you. But if you’ve found a diamond in the rough, and need a designer with the skill and expertise to see what’s possible and create a plan to make it happen, and you’re a good human who likes to work with good humans, then I might be the designer for you.

Making your home functional, comfortable and inviting is what a remodel is all about. It’s about creating a home that serves you well and supports you in all you do. Whether it’s a kitchen, a bathroom or a whole home, transformations are my specialty.

Making your home beautiful… well that’s the icing on the cake. And you should definitely have the cake!

If you’re ready to start writing your home’s transformation story, it all starts with a phone call. Head to my link in bio, or DM me and we’ll schedule a time to talk about your project.

One question I hear all the time is: “what can I expect during my kitchen remodel consultation?”

I get it. Having a designer over can be both exciting and unnerving. Maybe you have a space challenge, or a large scale renovation project that needs to be handled in phases. You’re at the starting line and need a clear path forward, an idea of what’s possible, and answers to questions about cost and timelines.

It’s a lot to pack into a 2 hour session, and it’s why I’ve created a predictable structure for my design consultations: to provide as much value, insight and guidance as possible.

With over 30 years of experience in the industry and a heart for transforming homes, I’m always delighted to bring solutions, information and vision into every consultation.

My spring calendar is filling up quickly, but I still have a limited number of spots open in May and June.
