Forage Workshop

Forage Workshop Wood burnings and turnings made from sustainable, foraged wood. We make handmade home goods and accessories from wood that is found and foraged.

Our work at Forage Workshop is inspired by our great love of nature and spending time in the great outdoors. Many of the other materials we use have been either found in nature or recycled or repurposed from used materials. Conservation and appreciation for nature are our biggest passions. A portion of every sale is donated to the Arbor Day Foundation for planting trees in our National Forests.

It’s a day to appreciate our feathered friends. This is my winter backyard birds piece. Inspired by all of the birds that visit my garden during the cold days of winter. It’s bigger than a regular ornament so I can fit as many birds in as possible. It’s a stunner on a tree but also nice to keep up for the winter season or year round. 🕊️🦅🦆🦉🐦‍⬛

Did you decorate for the holidays yet? I’m still finishing up during my work breaks. We picked up leftover branches from our local Christmas tree stand so I can make my yearly wreath. We drove with them in the car while doing some holiday shopping and the car smelled like my version of heaven. 🎄

The bee balm and hummingbirds might be gone for the season but the bears are still active in northern NJ. I just saw a mama and baby running across the street the other day. I love watching them in every season. 🐻🌸

Midnight mountains, one of our classic designs, is always a favorite. You can add a personal message on the back of all of my ornaments to make an extra special gift. ⛰️🌌🌙

A newish bird for my bird couples series. The red headed woodpecker has appearing in some group pieces, but now they appear as the stars. They a rarer bird to see here in NJ, I’ve only seen them twice in my life. Seeing one of these beautiful birds is definitely a highlight for any bird nerds, something they might just want to commemorate. Maybe with a little art piece/ ornament?

It’s been a while since I added a new bird, here they are, the black billed magpies! I was lucky enough to visit Yellowstone again this summer and I fell back in love with these beautiful birds. Creating new birds is always fun for me so if you have a favorite that I haven’t created yet don’t hesitate to ask, I’m always up for a new bird 🙂
