Summer Session is coming to a close...

Here are a few updates and reminders about the Boonton and Maplewood Studios!

1. Firing fee invoices will be sent out in the next few days, make sure your sheets are totaled by tomorrow, August 21st, to avoid a $10 service charge. If you need to update your contact information, send us an email at [email protected].

2. Please check the front table at Boonton for your bisqueware - everything without a name, or with an illegible mark is on the front table and will be thrown away on 08/26 if not claimed.

3. Sign up for the Fall session in Boonton or Maplewood! Classes start 08/31 at both studios. Link to classes here (https://www.newburyartstudios.com) !

4. The Maplewood Studio's grand opening is this Saturday, August 22nd beginning at 10AM at 1988 Springfield Ave., Maplewood, NJ 07040. Stop by to check out the new digs!

Join us in celebrating our Maplewood studio's grand opening on 8/22!

The studio will be open starting from 10 AM, and refreshments will be served at 5 PM to celebrate our grand opening. We'd love for you to come by to check out our new space in Maplewood, where we're offering pottery classes, open studio time, and exciting new art classes!

Our 4-week half-session of classes is now available for sign-ups!

Classes come with 25lbs of clay, 24/7 studio access, and 4 class sessions taught by your choice of our fantastic teachers. Come join us at our Boonton studio this summer and learn how to make your very own pottery!

The studio will be closed after 5 PM tonight in preparation for Kay Gorgeous's Birthday drag show! If you're a member, please be sure to start cleaning up your space well before then to give us enough time to set up for the event.

Tonight's event is going to be phenomenal with 10 talented queens performing, and we'd love for you to come for the show!! You can buy tickets below or at the door, with doors opening at 7 PM and the show starting at 8 PM. We hope to see you there!

Dear NPS Members,

As many people know I am opening a Pottery & Art Studio in Maplewood with Julia Jones ... aka Jonesy. Newbury Art Studios - Maplewood.

Information for both BOTH studios can be found by logging onto newburyartstudios.com (http://www.newburyartstudios.com) . We are still working on the Google of it all, so the best way to get to the website is by typing in the web address.

Several people have expressed an interest in the Maplewood studio due to its location and interest in other classes. In Maplewood classes & open studio will be slightly more expensive, but we are offering early pricing for all of our pottery classes & Open Studio at this time.

NOW - AUGUST 1:
- 8 week wheel classes will be $480. (then go up to $510.)
- 10 week Open Studio will be $400. (then go up to $425.)

Our Firing Fees will be .06 per cubic square inch.

Please note: Open Studio & firing fees at Boonton will be experiencing an increase in the fall as well.

No matter which studio you call home base for your pottery, you will always have early dibs on workshops or special events happening in Maplewood.

Our summer class session is about to begin!

Wednesday classes begin on June 10th, and all other classes will begin the week of June 15th. Our summer session is longer than our usual sessions to account for vacation time, so you don't have to worry about missing any of your classes.

Wheel classes come with 25lbs of clay, 24/7 studio access, and 8 class sessions. Join us at the studio this summer to learn pottery from our fantastic lineup of teachers!

Our summer class session is now available for sign-ups!

Wednesday classes begin June 10th, and all other classes begin after June 14th. The summer class session is a bit longer than usual to allow for students to take vacation days, so you don't have to miss out on any classes!

Be sure to sign up now before your preferred date and time fill up.

If you'd like to join us for other classes this season, our amazing Drag Your Ass to Pottery Class hosted by Kay Gorgeous is next Saturday 5/30! We have other drag classes and Muck Around and Find Out sessions scheduled throughout the year.
