Tomorrow is open hooking and stitching day at the shop in Fayette at 118 E. Morrison, in the south side of the courthouse square. The shop opens at 10Aand I’ll be there until 5P. @ I hope you’ll come join us and bring something along that you enjoy working on and have a fun day out. 

Thank you to everyone who has helped make the first month in Fayette such a success. I appreciate your support and your business.

Summer classes are forming and I’ll be posting information on those this week. I hope that you’ll come and participate. I look forward to seeing you!

Yesterday two friends came to visit and hook: Joan and Enzo. Enzo is one of two wonderful dogs that Joan has hooked in a pattern adapted for her by the fabulous Theresa Rapstine. You can tell by the photos that Joan is a wonderful ho**er. She began this pattern at the Grand Lake class that Theresa taught two years ago. Joan is on a mission to finish it. Enzo was on a mission to greet all visitors.

They were here from Arkansas to celebrate one of Joan's daughter's graduation from MU med school. Joan is also a graduate of the program and got to "hood" her daughter during the ceremony. Such a happy occasion! Congratulations Dr. T❣️👏

Our new shop in Fayette is now open at 118 East Morrison St. on the courthouse square. Thank you to the Chamber of Commerce as well as our local and Big Muddy Ho**er friends for celebrating with us! Thank you to Ophelia's, Michelle Cecil and Patricia and Monica for our delicious spread! Thanks to Susan, Janet Acton, Kent Oliver, Chris and Andi Owens and our dear friends who moved and folded wool for making all of this possible

In addition to our walls of wool, the Fayette square has good restaurants and a homemade ice cream shop with a walk-up window! Join us on the square to make happy things! New classes will begin soon and we have open hooking and stitching every Wednesday from 10A - 4P.

Our regular hours are:

Wednesday and Thursday 10A - 5P
Friday and Saturday, 10 - 3P, and by appointment from 3P - 5P
Also available other days by appointment.

My mom was an excellent seamstress and mad all of the clothes I ever wore well into high school. I'm still amazed she made a sport jacket for my brother to take to college. Just one of her many talents!
