How about a quick look at the new additions to our booth at The House of Iris Custom Creations.
First we have a beautiful Pecan end Padauk end grain board. 15.25" x 14.25" x 1.5". Currently without any rubber feet, but as always they can be added at no additional cost. Priced at $185. Must see in person to appreciate the garnet hue if the Padauk accenting the earthy tones of the Pecan.
Next pic is a few of our new reclaimed white oak creations. The oak in these boards is reclaimed from 100+ year old solid white oak floor joists. Sizes and shapes vary, but the character of these boards does not. We are building both edge- grain and end-grain boards. Prices vary, but usually range from $65 to $95 each. Come check these out soon. When we run out of the reclaimed lumber we will have to purchase from a mill and that will raise the price of the white oak boards.
Our next board is a sweet cherry, wenge and ambrosia maple end grain cutting board. 10.75" x 14.5 " x 1.5 ". The color contrast is pleasing and the size is perfect for work in any size kitchen.
Priced at $100, this probably well below internet sites.
The next two boards are your standard kitchen work boards. The first is a blend of domestic and imported lumber. The broad mahogany center is set off by clear hard maple beautifully hugged by edges of American Walnut. 16.25" x 10" x 1". Priced at $75.
The second is flat out eye candy! Rarely do we use Ash on the edge grain, but this time I am glad we did!
The light color of the Ash sets off the Walnut and the Walnut returns the favor by accentuating the rich grain of the Ash. 9.5" x 16.25" x1". Priced at $75 also.
Last pic of the cutting boards a neat little Cherry, White Oak, and Walnut creation. Purposefully designed to remind one of an old barn or cabinet door it is simple yet very alluring! 11.5" x 16.5" x 1".
Priced at $85. This is a must see!
And last but not least. A whole new batch of cheese slicer in varying style and lumber are now available.
Thank you for your time through this lengthy post and let me know what caught your or what you might like to see. We try not to duplicate designs like a factory would, but can remake a previous creation upon request.
