I have always had a "thing" for purses. Pictured here are purses dating back to the 1800's. Thousands of tiny metal micro beads were meticulously sewn into a distinguishable pattern. Just WOW! Women would show off their skill set to other women and potential husbands (insert eyeroll). Others were chatelaines and were attached to a woman's sash - very useful. Then there was the roaring 20's flapper purses all the way through the 50's handbags that included their compacts and mirrors. It's hard to choose a favorite ~ they are all so great ~ BUT THAT FLORAL MICRO BEADED PURSE WITH THE TASSELS!!!!
