ANOTHER FULL HOME REMODEL IS UNDERWAY 🏠

Demo started yesterday and we’re almost already finished tearing out the oldπŸ’ͺπŸ”¨ and preparing for the new!

This home will be a open concept with the wall between the kitchen and living area removed and a support beam placed in the attic. New hardwood floors throughout except in the kitchen and bathrooms, those will be getting beautiful new tiles. Custom DeWils Walnut cabinets, two Cambria quartz slabs will go in the kitchen, natural stone backsplash, new lighting as well as new paint through out this home will complete its update! We can’t wait to reviel the new look the end
of October when the work will be completed! Stay turned for progress photos!

Two showers 🚿 one home! Next up will be the installation of the custom glass shower door on the guest shower. Master bathroom update included new bathroom flooring and a new shower. This shower 🚿 was built not only to look good, but with the safety of our customer in mind.

We loved giving both these bathrooms a beautiful update- proof that the right finishes can completely transform the space!

And that’s a wrap!

This stunning kitchen renovation in a historic 1960s home in Natchitoches, Louisiana, was all about honoring the home’s original character while creating a space that feels fresh, functional, and timeless.

To open the home and improve flow, we removed the wall separating the kitchen from one of the living areas, transforming the heart of the home into a bright and inviting gathering space. The kitchen was taken down to the studs and completely reimagined with custom DeWils Custom Cabinetry in the homeowner’s favorite shade of green, beautifully paired with a rich mahogany island that ties seamlessly into the existing hardwood floors beyond.

Classic terrazzo flooring was selected as a nod to the home’s mid-century roots, while luxurious quartz countertops and a natural stone backsplash add texture, warmth, and enduring style. New plumbing fixtures, recessed lighting, statement pendants, and updated ceiling fans complete the design, blending modern convenience with timeless appeal.

The renovation extended beyond the kitchen as well. A small, outdated exterior door was removed and the opening expanded to accommodate a new sliding glass door, flooding the space with natural light and creating a stronger connection to the outdoors.

Every detail was thoughtfully selected to preserve the spirit of this historic home while enhancing the way it lives today. We are grateful to our wonderful client for trusting Louisiana Home Center with her vision. We know she, her Bed & Breakfast guests, and her family and friends will enjoy this beautiful space for many years to come.
