Steps in making the Sand Castle pattern. I’ll also post a video I made this morning on squaring up and removing those half square triangles while keeping a perfect 1/4 seam allowance for adding borders .

Garden quilt top Many years ago by a customer to cover a chair. The integrity of the fabric was Not going to withstand quilting, and I realized it also would
Not hold up on a chair. I put it away for several years and brought it out last week to frame it under an antique window which now Hangs in my sewing room. Don’t throw away those old quilts and quilt tops !
