Throwback Thursday feels like the perfect excuse to look back on a few moments that changed my career.

Winning IFDA New England’s Retail Space Design Award not once, but twice, is something I’ll never take for granted. Those moments were about so much more than a trophy. They were a reminder that taking creative risks, trusting my instincts, and designing spaces that truly reflect who I am is always worth it.

What I’m even more grateful for is everything that came after. The friendships, mentors, collaborators, and lifelong connections I’ve made through IFDA have shaped both my career and my life in ways I never could have imagined.

Now, serving as President of IFDA New England, I often think back to these moments with so much gratitude. It’s a privilege to help lead a community that believed in me long before I ever imagined standing in this role.

Thank you to everyone who has cheered me on, challenged me, collaborated with me, and reminded me that design is about so much more than beautiful spaces. It’s about people, community, and creating opportunities for one another.

Here’s to honoring where we’ve been while continuing to build what’s next. 👑❤️‍🔥
