Continuing witt my Enchanted Forest collection 🌙🌿

I wanted this collection to feel like a modern take on the kind of enchanted forests and botanical imagery you might find in Medieval art and illuminated manuscripts, but also with a little bit of the feeling of a contemporary editorial book cover.

For this card, I kept the dark background, arched frame, moon, stars, and very dense botanical border, but simplified and brightened everything with a more modern color palette and my own hand-painted style.

This might be one of my favorite designs I've ever created.

The "Enchanted Forest" collection is a versatile stationery and home decor collection that return to my roots in fantasy world building in manga, but here with the aesthetic suitable for modern homes. This design was designed with greeting card and wall art in mind.

Suitable for all ages, from kids to those young at heart, I hope you enjoy what is coming as much as I do!

I originally designed this as a little blender pattern for my Hanukkah collection... but I think it got a little carried away.

I wanted something that could sit quietly alongside the busier patterns, but once I started drawing all the little tiles and Hanukkah details, I apparently forgot what a "blender" was supposed to be.

So... maybe it's a blender in spirit?

I actually really love how it turned out, though. The little dreidels, menorahs, gelt, Hebrew letters, and mahjong-inspired tiles make it feel like its own little pattern rather than just a background.

Another Hanukkah design from the Mahjong Tov collection! 🕎💙

I originally designed this one with packing paper and gift wrap in mind, so I wanted the little mahjong-inspired tiles to feel like they were scattered all over the paper.

I had a lot of fun mixing in the Hanukkah symbols with the mahjong tiles. I could definitely see this being fun for Hanukkah gifts! 🎁

I’ve been having so much fun drawing Hanukkah designs, and this is one of the patterns that came out of it. 💙💛

I wanted to play with the idea of Hanukkah stamps/postage and fill them with little bits of the holiday — dreidels, gelt, menorahs, sufganiyot, Hebrew letters, and lots of little stars and details.

I love how it ended up feeling a little vintage and a little folk-artsy!

I’m hoping to turn this collection into more products this year, so stay tuned!
