I hate to be the one to tell you, but back to school is back. Or at least looming large around the corner. Whether you're starting grade school or grad school we've got all the supplies you could need. Lunch bags and to-go containers aplenty, electric kettles for rapid boil ramen emergencies, and soup bowls to match. Basically everything from a kindergarten snack pack to a dorm or first apartment stock up. We got you.
Left the educational system long ago? Don't fret, we can accommodate post grads and terminal degree holders too, no discrimination here.

Tomorrow is the big day, the double deuce of jamaicaplainsummerfest & Open Streets happening up and down Centre & South Sts!! Kitchenwitch is super super hyped to throw our annual yard sale with our now iconic $1 table sitting outside, and some crazy 50-80% off deals inside, and of course all the usual selection of funky eclectic kitchen supplies we carry everyday already. The one two punch of Open Streets JP and JP Summer Fest is this Sunday!!! From Jackson Sq all the way past the monument and down South St! We're so excited to have our South St small business buds included, so don't forget to check out the entire thing, or just take it at your pace, really it's fine, we're just hyped.
What does it mean for Kitchenwitch? Well we're throwing our annual yard sale, filled with dozens of $1 deals, plenty of like new but slightly sun faded display models, and a few real gems that can only be described as mega deals.
So mark your calendars, lace up your walking shoes or pump up your bike tires, make a list of all the matcha latte locations you wanna hit along the route, and we'll see YOU this Sunday!
A huge thank you to all the folks who have been working tirelessly to make JP Summer Fest happen, you know who you are. And I'd like to extend an olive branch to the city, you shortened our open streets route this year but it's all love, we're making moves ourselves and hopefully we can get back to the full thing (+ South St!) next year.

You might have heard Open Streets JP is back this summer, and you might also have heard that the route was shortened, from Jackson Sq to Lochstead Ave, but have no fear because the rest of Centre AND South St are gonna be celebrating anyways!!! Come wander open streets and beyond for JP Summer Fest!!! Local businesses will be having fun all day, and not just the brick and mortars on the route, but plenty of other Jamaica Plain faves from outside this small business corridor will be on the scene.
As for Kitchenwitch? Well we're obviously gonna be there, opening earlier than our usual Sunday hours to throw our annual YARD SALE. You will not want to miss these incredible deals, a true everything must go kinda scene.
Keep your eyes out for all the other local businesses and organizations getting funky for this festival celebrating some of what makes JP the best neighborhood in the world.
