When we started this brand, our hope was simple: to create pieces that tell a story. We never imagined those stories would cross the ocean and find a place in a 17th-century Oxfordshire estate.
To see our Begum Pure Linen Pillow Cover featured in The English Home is a milestone we hold so close to our hearts. Designer Anna Moss (Anna Moss Interior Design) has a remarkable gift for weaving warmth, history, and character into every room. We are so deeply honored that she chose our textiles to be a small chapter in this house’s new beginning.

Why does a brand-new pillow sometimes look like it already needs fluffing?

It is one of the questions we hear most often, and the answer is usually not the pillow cover itself.

The difference often comes down to one overlooked detail: the size of the insert in relation to the cover.

A cover may be beautifully made, but if the insert is too small, it cannot properly fill those clean, square corners. The result is a pillow that looks softer, flatter, or less full than intended.

The good news? The fix is simple.

Its fiery canopy signals a change of season, painting streets and gardens in vivid bloom before slowly disappearing until the following year.

Bella is our interpretation of that fleeting beauty. Not by recreating the flower in its entirety, but by distilling it to a single blossom-its elegant silhouette transformed into a motif that lives on in our textiles.

One of my favorite parts of the process is sampling.

We rarely get it right the first time. We print, measure, tweak the spacing, print again, and repeat until every detail feels balanced.

The finished product may look effortless, but it’s built on many rounds of testing and the skilled hands of our artisans. That’s what transforms an idea from our studio into something you’ll use every day.

When we started working on our fall palette, we knew we wanted it to feel warm, but not predictable.

We love experimenting with color, and sometimes the combinations surprise us in the best way. Sometimes they don’t work at all, and we go right back to the drawing board. That’s just part of the creative process.

Seeing Rasa come to life through hand screen printing is always one of our favorite moments. After months in our Mumbai studio, watching each color being printed layer by layer in the workshop makes all the sampling and tweaking worth it.
