Home isn’t just what you see, it’s what you feel the moment you walk in.

It’s the way light moves through a room, the quiet presence of thoughtful materials, the energy held in the details. A sense of grounding that can’t be staged or styled, only created with intention.

Beyond design, this is about how a space supports you, how it softens the noise, invites stillness, and allows you to reconnect.

If you’re seeking more than a beautiful home—something deeper, more aligned, you’ve come to the right place.

A classic colonial reimagined with a quiet modern sensibility, where heritage architecture meets the way we actually live today.

This family room off the kitchen was designed as an emotional anchor in the home: a place for coming together, slowing down, and being fully present. Layers of soft texture, balanced proportions, and grounded materials create a sense of ease that invites you to stay a little longer.

It’s not about formality; it’s about a feeling held by your space, whether the room is filled with conversation or quiet. Fun Fact!! We added a protective acrylic layer over this original oil painting while the kids were small, so they could still build sofa forts without worry. Every detail considered.

This kitchen was designed for more than just cooking; it’s where mornings begin slowly, conversations linger, and everyday moments feel a little more grounded.

Soft tones, natural textures, and an intuitive layout create a sense of calm that supports the rhythm of life. Nothing is overly precious; every surface invites use, every seat is meant to be filled. It’s a space that holds both the quiet and the gatherings, beautifully.

Because true luxury isn’t perfection, it’s ease, connection, and feeling at home in your space. If you’re ready for a home that reflects how you live, not just how it looks—let’s begin. You’ve come to the right place.

Where Art Lives.

In every space we design, art isn’t an afterthought—it’s a starting point. Each piece informs the palette, the scale, and the rhythm of a room, shaping an environment that feels both intentional and deeply personal.

We believe interiors should do more than hold art—they should support it, frame it, and allow it to live fully within the home. From custom millwork to layered textures and thoughtful sightlines, every detail is considered to let each piece speak.

Because the most meaningful spaces are the ones that tell your story—through what you choose to live with every day.

There’s something about Bermuda, the softness of the color palette, the way architecture responds to light, and how indoor and outdoor living feel seamlessly connected.

I’m always paying attention to how different places shape the way we live. The details here—from the tonal exteriors to the natural textures—feel both relaxed and intentional, a balance we’re constantly exploring in our work.

I’ll be spending more time traveling this year, and I’m always open to connecting with new projects along the way.

Smart people still need designers.

Not because they can’t decide.
But because they decide all day.

The clients we work with are accomplished, capable, and deeply intentional about their lives. By the time they get home, the last thing they want is another decision — even one about their own space.

That’s where we come in.

Georgia takes on the thousand choices that go into a beautiful home — the finishes, the fabrics, the flow — and filters every single one through your taste, your lifestyle, and your vision. So the end result feels completely like you. Without the exhaustion of getting there.

Because your home should restore you. Not add to your load. 🤍

At Georgia Zikas Design, our presentations are designed to feel as considered as the homes we create.

We invite our clients into our Boston office, where the pace intentionally slows, light bites are served, a comfortable setting, and a calm, focused atmosphere. This is not a quick review; it’s a deeply collaborative working session.

We walk through the home room by room, presenting on our large screen so everything can be experienced at scale. Together, we study layouts, explore concepts in depth, and place inspiration imagery alongside our renderings, bridging vision with reality in a way that feels clear and tangible.

From there, we move into furniture selections, each piece thoughtfully aligned with the floor plan and spatial flow. Seating, tables, lighting—every selection is grounded in proportion, function, and how the room will truly be lived in. We then layer in materiality, refining how textures, finishes, and tones work together to create cohesion across the home.

What makes this process distinct is what happens next. With real-time feedback, our team refines, evolves, and, when needed, reimagines, ensuring each room moves forward with clarity and intention.

This level of presentation is part of our full-service experience, designed to give our clients confidence, alignment, and a deeper connection to the outcome.

One of the most defining features of historic homes is their millwork.

Paneled walls, mouldings, transoms, and detailed door casings create structure and rhythm throughout a space. When renovating historic architecture, these elements are often the key to maintaining the home’s original integrity.

In this project, we recreated historical elements using period reference. Rather than simplifying the architecture, we emphasized the millwork—allowing traditional craftsmanship to anchor the room while introducing a more contemporary color palette.
