Ver-Tex Construction’s beginnings can be traced back to a garage in Abington, Massachusetts. The young company began in 1985 as a full-service window treatment company, cleaning, servicing and supplying all types of blinds, shades and draperies, and earning a significant reputation as a one-stop shop to handle all window treatment needs. As the company evolved and technology progressed, motorized shading became a staple of the company’s offerings, with relationships with top manufacturers and distributors permitting them to provide the latest and greatest in motorized and automated shading. Working with general contractors, real estate developers, architects and designers, Ver-Tex Construction has been able to provide unbiased advice on projects ranging from hospitals and academic halls to office buildings and retail spaces, due to our broad range of solutions from a variety of leading brands and vendors.

In recent years, Ver-Tex has expanded at an impressively rapid rate. 2014 saw the establishment of Ver-Tex Construction’s Experience Center showroom in Boston and the subsequent establishment of Shade Light Solutions. Shade Light Solutions and the Experience Center provide a truly immersive atmosphere that allows clients and customers to explore more than 60 motorized and manual shade combinations, along with innovative lighting controls, in order to get a first-hand look at the possibilities for transforming residential and commercial spaces. Located in Boston’s Innovation District and historic Fort Point neighborhood, Shade Light Solutions provides the same personalization and attention-to-detail that has earned Ver-Tex Construction a reputation as the industry leader for design and installation of window treatments.

In 2016, Ver-Tex increased its national presence with a new office in Florida to support its growing customer base and establish itself in the Florida and Caribbean market. Now able to work with general contractors and the architecture/design community in the regions, Ver-Tex Construction’s growth continues in the region as it fulfills its promise to deliver client-focused service, upholding superior quality standards and creating unforgettable customer service experiences.
