Happy Women in Construction Week!

In celebration, we are proud to highlight one of the newest inspiring women on our team, Vera Juul, and her feature in New England Real Estate Journal's 2025 Women in Construction.

As Vera states in her feature, "The architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry has opportunities for growth in diversity. We wanted to take a moment to spotlight MP's Julia Donahue for her roll on IIDA New England's Board of Directors as Vice President of Communications.

The IIDA (International Interior Design Association) is a professional organization that advances the interior design profession through advocacy, education, and community. As VP of the IIDA New England Communications Committee, Julia oversees their Social Media, as well as their wonderful publications iida ne Wire and The Designer Monologues. She even supervises their Designer Monologues podcast.

Speaking to her experience working with IIDA NE, Julia stated, "IIDA NE has a wonderful group of volunteers and I really enjoy that I am able to collaborate with my committee and the board to contribute to our community of designers."

We recently wrapped up a 12,300 SF Endoscopy Suite renovation for Brigham and Women's Hospital!

This endoscopy center renovation included a three-phased modernization of the existing department and expansion into the existing vascular imaging suite. The project created eight licensed procedure rooms and expanded the number of patient pre-op and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) to include 21 stretcher bays. The renovation allowed for the PACU to be sized in accordance with current standards and increased the quality of space and care provided to patients.

On January 30th, MP’s Director of Lab Programming, Jane Kepros, will be speaking on BBUG's panel about lab and research safety.

During this virtual session by Safety Partners and Harvard’s BBUG, Jane along with other industry professionals will have a panel discussion regarding incidents, accidents, and near misses during their careers, along with the important lessons learned along the way. This seminar will be sure to reveal the important details and challenges that come with keeping these spaces safe for everyone.

We look forward to hearing Jane speak from her wealth of experience both working in and designing lab space.
