Ruff Ruff - The Winni Pups here - “Our Hoomans are doing something big…” You might already know our family as the founders of Paragon Roofing Co., but this time, they’re going beyond “Ruff-tops” 🏠 … They’re building something for us pups (and our Hoomans too)! ✨ 🐕
Right now, our Paragon Roofing Co. family — together with Pidgeon & Co., House of Dietrich and a network of other local businesses are restoring an old building right in the heart of downtown Alton and bringing back all of it’s historical charm. What are we doing you ask? We’re getting our paws dirty to create a boutique style pet supply and gift shop destination to be loved by those near and far. A place where the community can come together and tourists can find keepsakes to treasure their memories at the lake for years to come. And yes, we dogs fully approve.
We’re so excited to share with you, our vision for - The Winnipesaukee Pet Company, and trust us, it’s going to be “paw-some”. It’s not just a pet store — it’s a gathering space:
A boutique-style shop with premium dog & cat products (only the best for us fur babies).
Lake-inspired gifts that celebrate the spirit of New Hampshire and all things Winnipesaukee.
Partnerships with local artisans & vendors so you’ll find unique treasures made right here in our community.
An event space where hoomans and pups alike can socialize — from adoption events, free pup cups and “Yappy Hours.”
For us dogs, this means more belly rubs, treats, and social time. For our humans, it means creating a place where families can shop, gather, and celebrate community and life at the lake. It’s more than a pet store — it’s a little piece of “Lake Life” where pets are family, and family is everything.

So, if you see us wagging down Main Street, it’s because we know what’s coming: a place full of paws, people, and endless love, for us pets, our community and the lake.

While color is having it's moment, as it should, this clean white and stormy palette is still a fan favorite. Black accents are still a dominating request from clients. We love a good black and white contrast.

What makes a kitchen special? Corners. That's right. Wall to wall upper cabinetry that wraps around the permitter of the kitchen is expected. Depending on your cabinet style it can also look dated.

Make your kitchen a room of interest, we recommend playing with the corners of a space. Don't need the extra storage? Stop the cabinets short of the wall, use open shelving, or buildout corners to receive a different treatment. Need the extra storage? Change the material or finish. Visual breaks from a run of cabinets will transform a space from a standard kitchen to a room with character beyond the function.

Black is a look. Concept to completion, we were tasked with creating three looks for different buyers for a Beacon Hill Brownstone. For the modern aesthetic we chose black cabinetry for big impact. Using color blocking and architectural elements to our advantage to draw the eye up. A little designer trick to make the space feel taller.
The original proposed waterfall edge on the island may have been removed from scope but we can still picture the beautiful moment of the cascading white veining down the side of the island.
