Meet my newest pattern — Potted Daisy Flower! 🌼
I designed this one for the giant flower commission I took on this year. Because I had to make so many flowers, I wanted a design that was both cute and efficient to crochet.
The pot and soil are crocheted, and a wire stem runs through the soil — the flower itself is crocheted directly onto the wire, and it borrows a technique from Tunisian Crochet to make the petals. It’s not technically a low-sew pattern, but you only have 7 yarn ends to weave in, which is pretty good considering you’re using 5 colors! 💪 (and 3 of those yarn ends are tucked in at once, but who’s counting? 🤣)
In addition to the usual supplies (yarn, stuffing, hook, etc.), you’ll need 18-gauge wire and optionally a 1½-inch fender washer if you’d like to add weight to the base.
You can find the full crochet tutorial on YouTube and the written pattern in my shop — both linked in my bio! ❤️
The written pattern includes detailed step-by-step photos to make the whole process super easy to follow, so I hope you’ll check it out!
