Spinning in Freeport today @ the Desert of Maine Farm Days. Joined the group, and taught kids how to spin. Twisting, drafting, and they got a little yarn butterfly in the end. Lot of people enjoyed watching the spinning and asked all the questions! We even got talking about Mayan weaving, and one Indian family mentioned remembering Charkas. 🐪🐪🐪

Bluebell is gone to be with the herd in heaven. We did our best and everything we could. She loved the kids feeding her. While very sad and painful, it is part of farming. You have births and you have losses. Winters aren’t easy and I’d like to think spring gives us a break, but that is not the case.
Thank you for all your prayers.
